The sport of dove
hunting, as well as the abundance of the white wing dove, has grown
in popularity over the years. Dove hunting is still one of the most
affordable hunting events that the whole family can enjoy. Amidst the
beautiful Texas hill country, Uvalde, Texas, is
located 22 miles south of Concan, Texas, home of the famous Garner
State Park and the crystal clear Frio River. All hunts are over
grain fields and pastures in the close proximity of Uvalde. We have
great hunting areas for small groups as well as large ones. Family
hunting is welcomed and encouraged. Additionally, there is a
discount for any child under the age of 13. Minors must be
accompanied by a parent at all times and have their hunter's safety
course certification as required by the Texas Parks and
Wildlife.

from the Owner
My name is Mark Roberts, and I was born and raised in Uvalde. In
my 40 years of living in Uvalde, I have been a hunting guide
for fifteen plus years. I am currently scouting the birds and will
have full knowledge of their flight patterns and availability. I
have some of the best dove hunting fields in Uvalde and the
surrounding area.

Prepare for a Day of Fun
Preparation for your hunting trip is essential. Lodging
and meals are not included with our services. Lodging should be
reserved somewhere well in advance as Uvalde is widely known for
its dove hunting and the lodging availability during this season is
usually booked well in advance. The dove hunting season begins
September 1st and runs through October. Daily bag limits are
enforced. The daily bag limit has not been set for the current year
by the Texas Parks and Wildlife. This information should be
available at the place where you purchase your hunting license and
Texas Hunting Guide provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife. All
of this preparation ensures that your day of dove hunting will be
